Weekend disruptions: buses replace trains between Maastricht and Liège-Guillemins

On Friday night 25, Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April, Infrabel will work on the Belgian railways. During the construction work, the RE18 Arriva train service between Maastricht and Liège-Guillemins will be cancelled.

NMBS buses will replace trains. Passengers should take into account that their journey will last longer. Scheduled connections cannot be guaranteed.

Travelling with replacement bus services

Passengers need a valid travel document, such as an OV-chipcard, to travel with the replacement bus service. They must check in at the point of departure and check out at the destination. Bicycles cannot be taken into these buses.

Delays expected

Passengers should take into account that their journey will last longer. Existing connections cannot be guaranteed. The timetable for the replacement bus service can be found on the Arriva website. The entire journey, from door to door, can be planned, booked, and paid for in advance via the Glimble app or via www.arriva.nl.
